MuseGlobal Introduces New Content Partner Program.

Focus on quality connections a competitive edge.

October 14, 2003

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - October 14, 2003 - MuseGlobal, Inc., the metasearch technology firm, has announced a Content Partner Program with the objective of fostering quality connectivity to information sources. Headed by Emily Fayen, MuseGlobal's Vice President of Digital Content, the program strengthens technology relationships with content providers for the mutual benefit of users and publishers.

"High-quality, high-availability connections to information sources are the key to providing outstanding user satisfaction with a metasearch tool," said MuseGlobal CEO Kate Noerr. MuseGlobal works with content partners such as ProQuest, H.W. Wilson, OCLC, and others to provide seamless access to electronic content needed by so many libraries, information centers, and knowledge management services. MuseGlobal has recently added Marketing Intelligence Service's Productscan Online database of new products, Mintel's Global New Products Database (GNDP), and xrefer's service to libraries, xreferplus, to its rapidly growing collection of online resources.

"We have initiated this program to collaborate proactively with content providers," according to Fayen. "Many publishers are seeking new ways to deliver content directly to end users. MuseGlobal's metasearch technology acts as a conduit to lead users to information resources they might never have imagined existed."

MuseGlobal is an active participant in the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) Metasearch Initiative, which is addressing publisher concerns about metasearch tool providers. MuseGlobal is also working with content providers to eliminate any performance or intellectual property protection issues they may have.

This activity complements and enhances existing MuseGlobal Technology and Distribution Partner Programs.
